A partner in the law office of Podorowsky, Thompson & Baron, Attorney Adrian M. Baron represents both individual and corporate clients throughout the state of Connecticut. A resolute defender of client rights, Attorney Baron practices in a variety of legal areas and has appeared in courts throughout the state. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Baron served as Assistant to the Director of a nationally ranked New York litigation clinic under co-directors Karl S. Coplan and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He has the distinction of being one of only a small number of attorneys in the state that can provide legal consultations entirely in Polish. Attorney Baron was selected as a 2011/2012 SuperLawyers Rising Star (Criminal Defense) which recognizes the top attorneys throughout the United States. No more than 2.5 percent of the region's lawyers are selected to the list.
In addition to our office, Attorney Baron served as the Chairman of the Ethics Commission for the City of New Britain and is the Executive Director of the Polonia Business Association.

American Bar Association. His writings have appeared throughout the United States and Canada in various publications that include the
ABA Journal, Wisconsin Lawyer Magazine, the Missouri Bar Association's Precendent Magazine and the nationally distributed Technolawyer. He has also appeared on Fox and CNN affiliated programs to discuss various legal
and topical issues affecting local residents.
Attorney Baron's legal column appears weekly throughout New England and reaches an estimated 25,000 readers. The column appears in English and Polish. In 2010, his advice blog for attorneys "The Nutmeg Lawyer"
was selected by the editors of the national ABA Journal Magazine as one
of the top 100 legal blogs in the nation and as the number one legal blog
in Connecticut. Attorney Baron speaks Polish and Spanish.
-Education-
Attorney Baron received his Juris Doctorate from New York's
Pace University School of Law (2004) where he served on the
Honor Board and as a founding president of the Barrister's Guild. Adrian also holds a Certificate in International Business Law & Trade through a joint program between the Uniwersytet Jagiellonski in Krakow, Poland (one of Europe's oldest universities founded in 1364) and the Columbus School of Law in Washington D.C. (2003).
Mr. Baron's Bachelor of Arts degree is from Manhatttanville College in English and Political Science (1996) where he was honored as one of the college's first recipients of the prestigious Castle Pin Award.
- Community Efforts-
Attorney Baron's civic efforts have included the World Trade
Center Relief Effort, the Waterkeeper Alliance, Riverkeeper,
the International Chopin Piano Competition, and the Village for
Families and Children. He has served as a judge for the CBA's
Consortium for Law & Citizenship Education Trial Competitions
and as a Mock Trial Judge for the University of Connecticut
School of Law. Each month, Attorney Baron hosts free legal seminars to area residents unsure of their legal rights as well as providing pro bono services throughout the year. Adrian serves as the Executive Director of the Polonia Business Association and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Polish American Cultural Foundation. Through his efforts, Adrian was instrumental in officially designating New Britain's Broad Street community as "Little Poland". In 2011, Attorney Baron was appointed as Chairman the Ethics Commission for the City of New Britain.
